The Atrium Health Floyd Women's Care Family Birth Center ​promotes family bonding, with baby and parents spending as much time together as possible from the moment of birth. The designated entry off Turner McCall Boulevard provides a convenient location for those coming to the hospital to give birth. Mothers will be greeted at the door and escorted to the right location. From childbirth education and delivery to newborn care and breastfeeding support​, we are dedicated to providing expert care, education and safety throughout the entire childbirth process.​ Our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)​ offers advanced care for babies with severe or potentially life-threatening conditions. The caregivers at Floyd​ have expert training that guarantees the best possible care for premature babies in our region.
