Delays Due to Construction

Patients and visitors should allow extra time to reach the hospital.

Construction at the intersection of Shorter Avenue, Turner McCall Boulevard, North Second Avenue and Martha Berry Boulevard may cause delays getting to Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center.

Emergency Care Center and Family Birth Center Entrance Parking Lot Closures

Most of the main parking lot at the Floyd Medical Center Emergency Care Center and Family Birth Center Turner McCall entrance will be closed for approximately four weeks starting from March 2 due to construction.

A limited number of patient and visitor parking spots will be available outside the ECC.

There will be designated parking for the Family Birth Center entrance off Turner McCall Boulevard.

Shuttle Service and Parking Alternatives

Patients and their visitors can find alternate parking at the Floyd Medical Center Main Entrance on West Third Street or in the six-level parking deck on Turner McCall Boulevard.

The tunnel entrance from the parking deck will be open from 5 a.m. – 8 p.m., Monday – Friday, and 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. During other hours, the entrance will be controlled access with an intercom for entrance.

Shuttles are available to take patients and visitors from their vehicles in the Main Entrance parking lot to the hospital.
