Parking
Patients and visitors driving to Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center should plan on arriving earlier than scheduled because of work that will limit the number of available parking spaces at the hospital.
Main Campus Parking
On Monday, September 11, work crews will begin removing the mobile medical units in front of the hospital that were used to treat COVID-19 patients during the pandemic. That work will reduce parking availability on the hospital campus, which also includes the 330 Physicians Center.
It is not certain how long this work will take.
Signs will be placed to provide additional parking guidance.
Emergency Care Center Parking
Parking at the Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Emergency Care Center (ECC) will be limited on Saturday, Sept. 9, through Tuesday, Sept. 12, as crews prepare for the widening of North Second Avenue at the intersection of Turner McCall Boulevard.
Atrium Health Floyd has a long history of keeping parking spaces closest to facilities open for patients and their families. As a result, teammates are being asked to park in certain areas so that the public has access to more convenient parking spots.
Shuttle Service
Shuttles will be available to take patients, visitors and teammates from their vehicles to the main entrance of the hospital and the 330 Physicians Center.
Anyone needing a shuttle can call Atrium Health Floyd security at 706-509-5150.
