Dr. Keerthy Krishnamani Named Executive Medical Director of Floyd Primary Care Network

Keerthy Krishnamani, M.D., has been named the Executive Medical Director of the Floyd Primary Care Network.

Dr. Krishnamani will be responsible for maintaining the quality of care provided by the network, implementing strategic initiatives and recruiting and retaining caregivers.

He earned his medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from Madras Medical College in Chennai, India.

Dr. Krishnamani completed his residency at Sparrow/Michigan State University Family Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan.

He also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine.

Before coming to Floyd, Dr. Krishnamani worked at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, and Coos County Family Health services in Berlin, New Hampshire. He also has served in various clinical leadership roles in the following areas -- revenue cycle, system primary care, quality, ambulatory practices, efficiency and electronic medical record optimization.

​Floyd Health System provides primary care services that include family medicine, pediatric care, internal medicine, senior care and urgent care. The Floyd Primary Care Network serves adults and children in Rome, Adairsville, Armuchee, Calhoun, Cartersville, Cedartown, Rockmart, Shannon, Summerville and Taylorsville in Georgia, and Centre and Piedmont in Alabama.
