Matt Gorman
Vice President of Corporate and Network Services
Mr. Gorman was named Vice President of Corporate and Network Services in 2018. He joined the Floyd Medical Center staff in 2006 and was named Polk Medical Center Administrator in June 2014. He previously served as Administrator of Polk Medical Center and Senior Project Manager at Floyd Medical Center. During his time at Floyd, Mr. Gorman has served in a number of strategically important roles including Interim Chief Information Officer, Electronic Medical Records Transformation Coordinator and Director of Planning and Decision Support.
Mr. Gorman is a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University and his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Berry College.
Mr. Gorman is a board member and past Chairman of the Georgia Hospital Association Center for Rural Health, Chairman of the Georgia Hospital Association Bylaws Committee and a member of the Campbell School of Business Executive Advisory Committee. He is also a term limited past board member of the Polk County Chamber of Commerce.
