Surgery

The surgery teams at Floyd Medical Center, Floyd Outpatient Surgery Center and Cherokee Medical Center use best practices, nationally approved standards and technological advancements to ensure a safe surgery experience.

From surgery scheduling until hospital discharge, our team members are dedicated to coordinated, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Preoperative Surgery Clinic

Part of our dedication to high-quality surgery outcomes includes care by our Preoperative Surgery Clinic (PEC). Before surgery, you may be scheduled for an in-person visit or phone call to review your medical history and risk for complications.
