School Nurses

Atrium Health Floyd provides nurses to the Polk School District to meet the health care needs of students and staff. From bandaging a skinned knee to supervising students who need medications while at school to providing care in emergencies, our nurses are a daily point of contact in Atrium Health Floyd's partnership with the school system.

Dr. Lyndsay B. Claroni

Lyndsay B. Claroni, D.O.
Medical Director, School Nurse Program
Dr. Lyndsay Claroni is a local physician who provides medical care to all ages in our community, from newborns to senior adults. She also is medical director of Atrium Health Floyd’s School Nurse program in Polk County, bringing clinical oversight to the care school nurses give to the children in our schools.
