Floyd Puts Students First
Floyd is honored to provide health care for the Polk County school system with the following services.
As students settle into their daily routines, our school nurses will also assist those who take medications and offer advice to families about health care issues. In the event of an emergency, Floyd nurses are on-site to provide medical attention. Meet Polk School District Nurses
Virtual Doctor Visits
Floyd is offering virtual doctor visits at Cedartown High School and Rockmart High School. Students, faculty members and staff can conveniently talk to a doctor using video chat without leaving school. Most sick visits as well as disease management appointments are eligible for virtual doctor visits.
At Cedartown and Rockmart High Schools, our athletic trainers work to prevent students from getting hurt and can help an injured athlete get back into the game. In addition, Floyd Emergency Medical Services provides medical attention at many sporting events.
