Atrium Health Floyd provides nurses to Darlington School ​to meet the health care needs of students and staff. From bandaging a skinned knee to supervising students who need medications while at school to providing care in emergencies, our nurses are a daily point of contact in Atrium Health ​Floyd's ​partnership with the school​.

​Dr. James Douglas​ provides a full range of health care services for all ages including newborns, children, teens and adults. His areas of practice include family medicine, gynecology and obstetrics. Dr. Douglas also serves as medical director of Atrium Health Floyd's School Nurse ​program​, bringing clinical oversight to the health care school nurses provide to the children in our schools.
