Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Established July 1, 1966, Floyd Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provides emergency ambulance and non-emergency transport services to residents of Floyd and Polk Counties in Georgia and Cherokee County in Alabama.
Floyd has ambulances stationed in multiple locations to ensure rapid response and quality medical care using our fleet of ambulances equipped with cutting-edge technology and specially trained personnel.
These emergency response efforts are complimented by intensive education, community outreach and disaster-response initiatives.

- Health screenings for schools, civic organizations, churches and other groups in the community
