Hunter Todd, a sports physical therapist with Floyd Physical Therapy & Rehab, is now a nationally recognized Sports Certified Specialist.

Todd, who has been with Floyd for the past two years, received the certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).​

The certification designates his expertise in athletic injury management, including acute care, treatment, rehabilitation, prevention and education. Fewer than 1 percent of therapists in Georgia achieve this certification. 

To obtain ABPTS certification, physical therapists must have extensive hands on experience and pass a rigid, standardized national examination.
