She Believes in Empowering Patients

CARTERSVILLE, Ga., Sept. 22, 2022 Ashley Corey, D.O., is now seeing patients at Atrium Health Floyd Primary Care Family Medicine Cartersville.

Dr. Corey believes in preventive measures and lifestyle changes to keep her patients healthy. She wants patients to know she is there to help and support them with their medical needs.

“I always try to empower my patients with the knowledge and skills they need to improve their health," Corey said. “I also will deprescribe when able to, in order to simplify my patients' lives."

She is no stranger to the community. She completed her residency through the Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Family Medicine Residency program.

Corey received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Spartanburg, South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences from Lee Honors College of Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
