Dr. Hunter Davis Seeing Patients at Floyd Primary Care in Rockmart

ROME, Ga., Aug. 1, 2022 Dr. Hunter Davis​, a Polk County native, is now seeing patients at Floyd Primary Care in Rockmart.

Davis was born and raised in Cedartown and attended Cedartown High School. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

“I have always been someone who's passionate about learning," Davis said. “Medicine is constantly evolving, whether it be new technologies or new ways to practice, such as telemedicine. I love being able to help people in my community."

Davis received his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida. He completed his medical residency at Emory Family Medicine Residency in Atlanta. He earned Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.

He received an associate degree in business management, general studies, at Georgia Highlands College in Rome.

Davis trained as a resident in preventive medicine, orthopedics, infectious disease and sports medicine. He also has experience as an urgent care physician.

He began his medical career working in information technology at Floyd Medical Center.
