Atrium Health Floyd Centralizing Pediatrician Practices

​New Office Located at 304 Shorter Ave.

​ROME, Ga., July 28, 2022 The practices of three Atrium Health Floyd pediatricians are moving to centralize their services in one convenient location.

The new location, Atrium Health Floyd Pediatrics, will be at 304 Shorter Ave., Suite 105 in Rome, beginning Monday, Aug. 1. The building will house the practices of Dr. Tyler Barnes, Dr. Karen Timberlake and Dr. Sylvia Washington.

Timberlake and Washington will begin seeing patients at the new location on Aug. 1. Timberlake is moving from the 330 Physician Center, 330 Turner McCall Blvd. Washington is moving from 1501 Shorter Ave.

Barnes is moving from his 402 N. Fourth Ave. SW office and will begin seeing patients at the new location on Aug. 4.

The new location offers in-office laboratory services, same-day sick appointments and convenient parking. Office hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment call 706-236-4880​.
