Sherri L. Barton, M.D., has joined Floyd Urgent Care in Cartersville,1328 Joe Frank Harris Parkway.

Dr. Barton earned her Doctor of Medicine from East Tennessee State University College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee. She completed her residency and an internship at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee.

 Dr. Barton is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Southern Medical Association. She is a Diplomate member of the American Board of Family Medicine. She enjoys exercising.
