Physicians Graduate from Floyd Family Medicine Residency Program

Nine physicians have graduated from Floyd's Family Medicine Residency Program.

The graduates are Rachel Pyle Anderson, D.O., Chief Resident; John Tyler Andrews, D.O.; Kayla Brianne Benton, D.O.; Samantha Hollis, D.O.; Kyle David Lemond, M.D.; Nicholas Lloyd Morrow, M.D.; Justin Arter Rushing, M.D.; Nicholas Daniel Von Der Ahe, M.D., Chief Resident; and Lawrence Fredrick Zottoli III, M.D.

The Floyd Family Medicine Residency Program trains physicians in the specialty of family medicine. The program, established in 1976, provides three years of academic and clinical post-doctoral education to medical school graduates and offers hands-on experience to residents in preparation for full-time medical careers.

Dr. Anderson earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She will join Archbold Medical Group in Thomasville, Georgia.

Dr. Andrews earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He will join Northeast Georgia Physicians Group in Dawsonville, Georgia.

Dr. Benton earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. She will join Floyd Primary Care in Cedartown.

Dr. Hollis earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She will join Adult Medicine Specialists in Easley, South Carolina.

Dr. Lemond earned a Doctor of Medicine from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He will join Deaconess Clinic in Evansville, Indiana.

Dr. Morrow earned a Doctor of Medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine. He will join Senior Medical Systems in Taylorsville.

Dr. Rushing earned a Doctor of Medicine from University of Alabama School of Medicine. He will join Cullman Primary Care in Cullman, Alabama.

Dr. Von Der Ahe earned a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He will join Floyd Primary Care in Rockmart.

​Dr. Zottoli earned a Doctor of Medicine from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He will join Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
