The Rev. Jason Jordan, ThM, has been named Director of Pastoral Care at Floyd.
As chaplain, Jordan will provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families and staff throughout the Floyd Health Care System. In addition, he will work with local clergy to help strengthen Floyd's ties to the community.
He earned a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw. He completed his Pastoral Care Residency at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.
Jordan previously worked as the North Georgia Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator for Compassus Hospice.
He has served as a mentor for Teach One to Lead One and the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy.
