Floyd Urgent Care will open an eighth location March 4 in Armuchee, where minor emergencies, athletic injuries and illnesses such as the cold, flu and respiratory infections can be treated when you need care.
Floyd Urgent Care in Armuchee will be open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The location will be on the same campus with Floyd Primary Care at 4159 Martha Berry Highway NW, near Armuchee High School and North Floyd Park.
Dr. Duriel Gray, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, will provide care at the new facility.
“Dr. Gray’s knowledge of sports medicine will be well received by high school athletes and weekend warriors in Armuchee, where so many Floyd County residents already live, work, go to school and play,” said Michael Howell, Assistant Administrator of Floyd Primary Care. “The opening of Floyd Urgent Care in Armuchee will give patients another location where they can receive quality care.”
Gray is currently at Floyd Urgent Care in Rome. “I have a very simple approach to medicine, which is treat my patients how I want to be treated,” Dr. Gray said.
Floyd already operates seven Urgent Care sites in Calhoun, Cartersville, Cedartown, Centre, Alabama, Rockmart, Rome and Summerville.
