​​​Dr. Candela serves as one of our Chief Residents.

When asked why she chose our Residency, she said:​

"I chose the Floyd Family Medicine Residency Program because when I met everyone I got the sense that I would be in a program that cared about and supported me as an individual as well as the community. The faculty, staff and other residents are all so welcoming. Another aspect I was drawn to was that it is an unopposed program in a beautiful area with a diverse patient population."​
