Family Medicine Residency Faculty
Dr. Atherton-Staples also serves on the faculty of the Floyd Family Medicine Residency program. She says:
"I had the privilege of rotating through Floyd as a medical student, and the exposure I received here led me to choose both family medicine and Floyd Medical Center for residency. The opportunity to develop relationships with the whole family and really become a part of their health care team is so unique to family medicine. I love caring for patients of all ages and stages in life. I found Floyd to be an amazingly supportive community with so much to offer in terms of education and training. Plus, the people are the best!"
