Floyd provides financial assistance to many local organizations that work to address a variety of issues, ranging from education and physical fitness  to child abuse and mental health, including:

Our school nurses are onsite at schools in Rome, Floyd County and Polk County. ​ They assist those who take medications and offer advice to families about health care issues. In the event of an emergency,​ they are available to help ensure the safety of students and to ensure students stay healthy. Our licensed and certified athletic trainers provide ​onsite medical attention during sporting events. If an injury happens, our athletic trainers are on the sidelines at the following schools:
