Natasha Ballard, M.D., cares for patients at Floyd Urgent Care in Rockmart.

She received her bachelor degree in Science with honors, in psychology and a minor in biology from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. Dr. Ballard earned her medical doctorate degree with highest honors, from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies.

In addition, Dr. Ballard completed her family medicine residency at Floyd Medical Center where she was selected by the Floyd Family Medicine Residency faculty and her peers to serve as Chief Resident.

Dr. Ballard is board-certified family medicine physician. She is also a member of the following:

• American Academy of Family Physicians
• American Medical Women's Association
