At Floyd, we understand exceptional parents begin with prenatal education programs. We offer the information you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy and your newborn.

Becoming a Parent
This program, designed for both parents, will prepare you for labor and delivery, teach you about breastfeeding, infant safety — including CPR — and how to care for yourself and your newborn. You also will take a guided tour of our Family Birth Center.

Becoming a Parent Saturday Marathon
This one-day Saturday class is a condensed version of the six-week Becoming a Parent program. The topics are the same and the tour is included.

Breastfeeding Clinic
Our breastfeeding clinic is here to help you with any breastfeeding issue that might arise. Our certified lactation consultants are available to answer questions and teach technique before and after giving birth.

Big Kids and Babies Tour
Designed for children 3-10 who are going to be a big brother or sister. The program includes a tour of our Family Birth Center, presentation on being a big brother or sister and provides opportunities for children to ask questions about their new sibling.

CPR Training
Learn how to perform infant and child CPR during this two hour course.
