CAT Scan
A CAT Scan scans the body and uses a computer to reconstruct images in different angles. It then takes the images and shows three-dimensional images allowing radiologist to diagnose problems such as cancers, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, trauma and
musculoskeletal disorders.
Our Imaging Services is equipped with a state-of-the-art GE Lightspeed scanner that provides clear, precise images to help our physician make the best decision about your health.

Ultrasound
An ultrasound is the method of getting images from inside the human body through the use of high-frequency sound waves. The reflected sound wave echoes are recorded and displayed as a real-time visual image. No ionizing radiation (X-ray) is involved in ultrasound imaging.
Obstetric ultrasound refers to the specialized use of sound waves to visualize and thus determine the condition of a pregnant woman and her embryo or fetus.

Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA)
DEXA is a quick, painless procedure for measuring bone loss. It measures bone loss by sending a thin, invisible beam of low-dose X-rays with two distinct energy peaks
through your bones. One peak is absorbed mainly by soft tissue and the other by
bone. The soft tissue amount can be subtracted from the total, and what remains
is a patient's bone mineral density.
