Heyman HospiceCare at Floyd is named in honor
of Lyons and Jo Heyman. It is the only hospital-based, not-for-profit hospice service in the area.
The Heymans made a generous provision for Floyd's hospice program through a charitable remainder trust to the Floyd Healthcare Foundation. Their gift was the largest single contribution ever received by the foundation and supports a program that touches almost everyone in our community. In gratitude for this meaningful gift, Floyd renamed the Community HospiceCare program in honor of the Heyman family.
Now, their family's legacy of compassion for others continues in the community as patients and their families receive quality care and emotional support through Heyman HospiceCare at Floyd.
