DEXA (dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry) is a quick, painless procedure for measuring bone density. Our equipment uses low-dose radiation and scans from head to toe, instead of one body part at a time. This provides for a quick, convenient and more accurate diagnosis. The scan is completed just three minutes, compared to an average of 12-minutes scan time for standard scanners.
