Michael E. Gonsalves, M.D., cares for patients at Floyd Primary Care in Summerville.

Dr. Gansalves earned his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in biology with a minor in chemistry from San Francisco State University, Calif. He earned his medical doctorate from St. Matthews University School of Medicine in Belize, Central America. In addition, Dr. Gonsalves is a graduate of the Floyd Family Medicine Residency program. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Gonsalves served as a Sergeant and medical laboratory specialist in the U.S. Air Force from which he was an honor graduate.
