Since 2003 Floyd Healthcare Foundation has coordinated youth groups in our community that want to participate in the national Youth Service Day by implementing a service project.

The focus of Youth Service Day is to give youth the opportunity to discern needs within their community, develop a project to fulfill a need and to implement a project of their design. In doing so, youth learn the rewards of volunteering their time and talents for the good of others.
