2. Why is giving to Floyd Healthcare Foundation important?
Gifts make the following possible at Floyd:
- Purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
- Fund health education and community service
programs for youth in our community.
- Support health care concerns such as hospice, diabetes and cancer awareness, education and research.
- Assist in the improvement of Floyd facilities.
- Provide health care to all community citizens, regardless of the ability to pay.

3. May I direct my gift to a specific program or service?
Donations
received through one of our different giving
opportunities will be used for the program you choose. If our
giving opportunities do not include the program or service you would
like to make a donation to, then you may verbally express where
your gift will be used.
Nonspecific
donations will be designated to support current projects of the
foundation.

4. Is my gift tax deductible?
Floyd Healthcare Foundation is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit
organization. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent as
determined by the IRS.

5. Can I make a gift of appreciated property, such as stock or real estate?
You may offer gifts of appreciated stocks, marketable securities, real estate or other items of value.

6. Can Floyd Healthcare Foundation be the beneficiary of my will, trust or life insurance policy?
