1. How do I access the Physician Portal?
If your job requires you to see patient information, you may register for access to the Physician Portal. Visit Registration for instructions on how to register.
Once you have an account, you may access the Physician Portal from any computer with Internet access one of the three ways below.
- Visit www.floyd.org and click on Doclink in the upper right corner.
- Type www.floyd.org/doclink into the address bar and click Access Physician Portal button.
- Visit Green Link and click Physician Portal in the lower left corner.

4. Which patients are entered into the Physician Portal?
All patient's transcription, laboratory and radiology reports since July 1, 2003 can be accessed from the Physician Portal.

5. What clinical information will I find on the Physician Portal?
The Physician Portal offers:
- Current and historical transcription reports
- Current and historical laboratory reports
- Current and historical radiology reports
- Historical Inpatient ICP9 Dx and procedure codes
- Census statistics
- Ancillary orders
- Diagnosis and procedures
- Telemetry viewing accessible on-site
- Access to PACs (coming fall 2005)
- Access to Horizon Patient Folder (coming fall 2005)

6. How do I find a patient information once logged onto the Physician Portal?
- Click PATIENT SEARCH tab at the top of the page.
- Enter patient name as lastname,firstname.
Do not include spaces, and type all lowercase.
- You can narrow your search by entering the patient's date of birth along with the name.
- Click SEARCH to advance to the next page.
- Verify patient's name is correct.
- Click patient's name to view all visit information.

7. How do I view patient test results and transcriptions?
- Follow steps to "How do I find a patient's information once logged onto the Physician Portal?".
- Adjust the number of days and click REFRESH.
- Click on the test result you want to view.
- Radiology results will be included with results.
- Click TRANSCIPTION tab at the top of the page.
- Adjust dates by entering in the days or new date range into the search.
- Click OFFLINE QUERY located in the drop down menu under ONLINE QUERY.
- Click REFRESH. All transcribed reports for your date range should appear.

8. How do I print patient transcriptions?
- Follow steps to "How do I view patient test results and transcriptions once I have found a patient?"
- Click FILE at the top of the screen. In the drop down menu, click PRINT PREVIEW if you wish to see the document before printing.
- In the drop down menu, under File, click PRINT.
- Do not use the printer icon on the portal page.
